In the summer of 2023, we had an amazing family vacation with Rick Steves' Best of Barcelona & Madrid in 8 Days Tour. This was our first Rick Steves' tour, and we thoroughly enjoyed Spain's fantastic architecture, art works, and cuisine. Our tour guide Jesus Ruiz was knowledgeable, caring, and warm. All of our city guides were professional and enthusiastic. Our fellow travelers were fun and supportive. We enjoyed the tour so much that we signed up for one of Rick Steves Tours again in 2024.

The Best of Barcelona & Madrid in 8 Days Tour started in Barcelona, a city known for its stunning architecture, lively beaches, and rich cultural heritage. After three days in the city, our group took a high-speed train to Madrid, the dynamic capital city of Spain. We spent the following four days in Madrid and had a day trip to Toledo, a historic city renowned for its medieval architecture and cultural treasures. The tour ended in Madrid on the 8th day.
